Never Enough Thyme 

he Alpharetta-based, family-owned and operated gourmet restaurant – recently opened its second location at Alpharetta City Center in the Mercantile building at 8 S. Main St. The new location offers breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Known for its generous servings of homecooked favorites, Never Enough Thyme’s menu offers traditional items as well as those with a twist like Tuscan meatloaf, Cajun tacos, Italian sausage egg rolls, and huevos ranchero wraps. Catering and a private event space are also available, as is wine and beer. Never Enough Thyme is located in the Mercantile building, whose exterior architecture represents the traditional dry goods store found in every community. Situated at the corner of S. Main St. and N. Broad St, the building also offers a walk-up window and outdoor seating.

New Leadership

The Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra announced the appointment of four new members to its Board of Directors, including Peter Hildebrandt, Marilyn Margolis (pictured), Karen Wall, and Diana Weitz, Now entering its 13th season, the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra is metro Atlanta’s only fully-professional, part-time symphonic orchestra, made up of professional musicians from all over the greater metro Atlanta area. Conducted by Founder and Music Director J. Wayne Baughman, the JCSO provides musical enrichment through a five-concert series of performances, as well as additional educational programs and special events each year. 

Prostate Cancer Screenings

Northside offers prostate cancer screenings (PSA blood tests) throughout the year at multiple convenient locations. To be eligible, men must be between the ages of 45 and 75 and must not have a PSA blood test within the past year or a previous prostate cancer diagnosis. Qualified interpreters will be available free of charge, with advanced requests. Prostate cancer is the second most frequently diagnosed cancer and the second leading cause of cancer death in American men. Men, who have a father, brother or son who has had prostate cancer, and men of African descent may have an increased risk of developing prostate cancer.
