Find Your Best Brain

After researching the positive and lasting effects of neurofeedback therapy, Dr. Candace Holmes decided to offer it in her office. Neurofeedback therapy is also known as EEG biofeedback. It helps patients retrain their brains using computer software so that their brains function at maximum potential. Prestigious universities such as Harvard, UCLA, and Stanford have researched neurofeedback therapy’s efficacy for more than 40 years on many neurological conditions including ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, migraine headaches, chronic pain, and fibromyalgia just to name a few. It is a learning modality that is painless, drug-free, and non-invasive. It is considered safe and effective for both children and adults. The goal of neurofeedback is to transform an unhealthy, dysregulated brainwave pattern into a normal, healthy, organized pattern. Research demonstrates that dysregulated brainwave patterns may cause neurological symptoms. Dr. Holmes, D.C. is a certified BrainCore practitioner at BrainCore of Duluth in Duluth, Georgia. The programs provide patients with an art project prior to or during treatment. Patients claim that it reduces their anxiety and pain. Hospitals and treatment centers understand the positive impact of these programs but don’t always have the budget or resources to provide them. Tickets are $40. FeelBeautifulToday.org
