To celebrate Independence Day, we asked some of the residents from Phoenix at Milton to share a memory of their time serving our great country. These men remain busy and engaged at this lovely community, and we were lucky to catch up with them one afternoon. Meet these heroes, who live among us.

The Phoenix at Milton is a new community that began serving residents at the end of March 2017. The state-of-the-art community is built purposefully to serve seniors in a home-like environment that is safe, as well as demonstrates a forward-thinking design that is refreshing and unique. With rich amenity spaces such as a library, a pub, and a kitchen demo area, residents can participate in programming that not only supports but encourages them to thrive and flourish. The common areas were designed with the intention of the community becoming a hub for the family and the greater Milton community. Free meeting spaces, an outdoor living area, and children’s play spaces invite the whole family, no matter what age, to visit and spend time with their loved ones so the residents can easily stay connected.
The organization believes although their new communities are beautiful and well appointed, it is what is inside their walls that defines the Phoenix experience. The team takes enormous pride in the trust families and seniors place in them and know their associates define that trust. The commitment to excellence at the Phoenix at Milton includes a focus on hiring associates who not only have the right skills and experiences but also bring a caring heart for serving seniors.
