This is where people get creative and build cool stuff!  Woodcraft of Atlanta, located in Alpharetta, sells quality woodworking tools, accessories and supplies and promotes woodworking through a variety of educational opportunities. It is one of 70 plus Woodcraft retail stores throughout the US where anyone can learn to use all the right tools to create wood products.

Woodworkers use a lot of hand an power tools to build furniture and cabinets and craft boxes, pens, spindles, bowls, pepper mills, Christmas ornaments, figurines, and a lot more. Woodcraft classes help them learn all the steps required, from squaring lumber to applying a finish.

Woodcraft Supply, LLC, is one of the nation’s oldest and largest suppliers of quality woodworking tools and accessories. Founded in Boston in 1928, the company’s headquarters was moved to Parkersburg, West Virginia, in 1989.

Many retail stores, including the Alpharetta store, host meetings of woodworking clubs. The Alpharetta store hosts The Woodworkers Guild of Georgia on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m., and the Atlanta Woodturners Guild on the third Wednesday at 7:00 pm. The Peach State Chapter of the Society of Period Furniture Makers (SAPFM) conducts semi-annual symposiums and periodic informal meetings at Woodcraft, and the Georgia Chapter of the International Association of Pen Turners (IAPmeet four times a year on selected Saturdays.
